STARFINDER
Starfinder is probably my favourite system to play. It uses the same base rules as Pathfinder, but with its own twist and scifi aspects. So basically spaceships, galaxies, blackholes, spacepirates and anything you could ever imagine!
In our current campaign our party is 3 players, including myself. And ofcourse our beloved game master (✿◠‿◠) We are basically bountyhunters for an organization and do quests for them and explore a newly found planet!
I will be talking about the game mechanics and other random stuff here, but if you are interested in learning more about my character R3D, please go check them in the CHARACTERS page ヽ(✿゚▽゚)ノ And if you want to know what shenanigans our crew gets to, check the TTRPG TALES page!

I will just start yapping :D
In Starfinder 2e there is a super cool thing with the weapons! Well all the weapons themselves are cool on their own too, since I am a sucker for anything scifi. But the weapons have these tiers, so for example using my characters main weapon, Assasin Rifle, the tiers are form commercial to paragon.
Commercial is the tier you'd normally get while buying or acquiring a weapon. But later in the game you can use credits (the currency) to up its tier. For example I had a commercial assasin rifle when we started playing, but after paying 1000 credits I got it upgraded to an advanced assassin rifle.
It might seem like a waste to upgrade your weapons at first if you are not familiar with the gamesystem, but it actually makes a huge difference in combat scenarios.
Using the assasin rifle again we can see that a commercial tier one makes 1d10 damage on a hit (1d10 = a ten sided die) but an advanced one does 2d10. This is already a huge difference in the damage potential of the weapon.
Weapons also have all kinds of different traits, I will discuss more of them in the future. The traits also can give weapons added damage or even make the damage dice bigger, for example a d10 might in certain situations turn into a d12.
